The 8th Partnership meeting of the climate adaptation Partnership – held the 25 and 26 of November – start today. The Project Coordinator, Stefania Manca, is hosting the Partnership in her own city Genoa. We will come together in Genoa with a divers group of action leaders, municipalities and other stakeholders to discuss the activities of the Partnership.

During this meeting, we will discuss the progress of the Actions of the Action Plan and look ahead to the final months of implementation. Furthermore, the deliverables of the Partnership are discussed which are expected June 2020. In addition, we will discuss upcoming events and communication, which include testimonials of the Action Leaders regarding their involvement within the Partnership, and we will have some presentations of stakeholders.

Besides the official Partnership meeting, the Project Coordinator is organizing a field visit to the municipality developing climate adaptation projects in the city, related to Unalab H2020 project and the new masterplan under the bridge collapse (2018) including adaptation measures for urban transformation.

After the Partnership meeting, the Partners are invited to join the Genoa Smart Week event ‘Genova Resilience Strategy update & future Action’ and the ‘Local Academy on Climate adaptation for local politicians under action K3’
