On the 24th and 25th of January, the Climate Adaptation Partnership held its 2nd Partnership Meeting in Brussels, Belgium. The main goal of this meeting was to define the bottlenecks and potentials that cities face.

The partnership grouped in the previously defined Working Groups – Knowledge, Governance and Resources. During the meeting, the Partnership engaged in focused analyses of horizontal issues they had identified earlier, namely monitoring indicators, communications and sectoral Impact. Upon identifying the relevance of the elements for each of the horizontal issue, the Working Groups started identifying bottlenecks and potential. After the meeting, further analyses of the bottlenecks and potentials will continue.

The Partnership will convene again on the 12th and 13th of March in Barcelona, Spain to translate the identifying bottlenecks and potentials to Actions. Draft Action Plan will be developed thereafter where partners will identify areas to improve funding, knowledge and legislation in Europe regarding Climate Adaptation.
