The Environment forum will focus on ‘Building Resilient Cities: from Challenges to Opportunities’. Participants will assess different resilience strategies taken at city level across Europe and discuss possible barriers and solutions regarding their implementation. Furthermore, a political debate will cover possible environmental priorities after the European elections. Further deep-dive sessions will examine risk and vulnerability assessment and try to identify viable ways of making the whole community resilient.
UAP circular economy will present in the working group waste on 3 April.

The Urban Agenda Partnership on Circular Economy together with the EUROCITIES Working Group on Waste wish to set spotlight on the use of Pay As You Throw as an instrument to be used for cities in the future work for source separation and recycling. The partnership has developed a toolkit for cities, focusing on all elements for a successful implementation. The toolkit will be presented, as some city examples. The WG will be asked to give input to the toolkit and how this should be disseminated among cities in a best possible way.
