DG CNECT together with the Women4Cyber initiative from the European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO) have committed last year to create a registry of European women in cybersecurity.
Women4Cyber Registry was created to identify and build the community of women professionals in the field of cybersecurity.
It gathers women, with different profiles and could be a reference point for expert groups, event organisers, media, as well as collaboration and potentially business opportunities. The aim of this Registry is to encourage women professionals to come forward, become more active in the field and raise their own visibility as well as promote the Women4Cyber initiatives.
You would like to register?
The Woman4Cyber registry can now be found on the new Cybersecurity Atlas website: https://cybersecurity-atlas.ec.europa.eu/women-4-cyber

Biography
Full profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ljubica-pendaroska/
Ever since the days when I think of myself, I have dedicated my energy and knowledge to promote human rights and freedoms. The most productive professional decade until nowadays, I have fully committed to protecting the privacy and personal data, an enormous challenge in a time of digital development and communication.
Being a productive part of different environments and positions, opens the professional as well as the horizons on an individual level, as a person. Hence, I was fortunate enough to turn my knowledge into experience, working as an Assistant at the Faculty of Law in International Human Rights. And that's where it all started! Then came many EU projects where I was engaged as an expert on privacy and personal data protection, as well as NATO projects related to cyberspace. Based on proven experience, I have also joined UNICEF to promote the protection of children's personal data as a, particularly vulnerable category.
Privileged and honored that I have many opportunities to unselfishly share thoughts with interested audiences as a speaker at events all around the globe, dedicated to privacy, data protection ethics, as a component of the cyber domain. Willing and Open for more of them!
I’m tremendously proud to be part of George C. Marshall, as a Program Director of the Marshall Center Security Forum; Co-Founder of Cybersecurity, Corporate Security and Crisis Management Initiative – C3I; Official Representative and Correspondent of the NATO Memorial Federation for North Macedonia; Vice-President of the Adriatic Council and member of Cyber Security Capital.
Areas in which I am productive and you can contact me about:
- Personal Data Protection: consultancy, research, preparation of detailed analysis (including comparative analysis)
- Privacy matters
- A complete scan of the compliance of the company's operations with the privacy and ethical guarantee requirements
- Preparing internal acts for companies in order to operate in line with the principles and requirements of privacy and personal data protection
- Developing Privacy Policy for companies and other legal entities
- Data Protection Officer competences and duties
- Privacy coaching and training
- Privacy and Data Protection Speaker
