DG CNECT together with the Women4Cyber initiative from the European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO) have committed last year to create a registry of European women in cybersecurity.
Women4Cyber Registry was created to identify and build the community of women professionals in the field of cybersecurity.
It gathers women, with different profiles and could be a reference point for expert groups, event organisers, media, as well as collaboration and potentially business opportunities. The aim of this Registry is to encourage women professionals to come forward, become more active in the field and raise their own visibility as well as promote the Women4Cyber initiatives.

Biography
Rossella Mattioli joined ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, in 2013. Over the years she worked on threat modelling and security measures for Internet infrastructure, ICS/SCADA, smart grids, Internet of Things, smart cars and airports. She is currently focusing on strengthening European Union incident response capabilities by supporting the “CSIRTs Network” established by the EU 2016 Network and Information Security Directive and incident data exchange with the TF-CSIRT “Reference Security Incident Taxonomy” Working Group. Rossella holds a MSc in Cybersecurity from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology and she is a CISSP, certified SIM3 Auditor and TF-CSIRT steering committee member.

Professor of Computer Science (2000) in data science. I have been active in database and information system research since my PhD (1987) in modelling, developing, evaluating, and characterizing (big) data systems and techniques : personal (meta)data privacy, GDPR, and ethics, CCTV and forensic, IoT and security, geospatial and indoor/outdoor data, social networks, with applications via deep/transfert/machine learning for alert, spam and rumors detection, social emotion and interaction,… I founded the #femmes&Informatique chapter of the French Informatics Society, and the WIE French chapter of IEEE. I was elected at the National Reserach Committee (1999) and nominated 3 times to the National University Council by the French Ministery.
