Patrick Moran is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Copenhagen. His research spans macroeconomics, household finance, and applied microeconomics, with a focus on the distributional and behavioral consequences of financial innovation and economic policy. His research has been published in the Journal of Monetary Economics and International Economic Review. Patrick is a member of the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) and a research associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS). He has held previous positions at the Federal Reserve Board, Norges Bank, and Bank of England. He received a PhD and MPhil from the University of Oxford and a BA from the University of Chicago.
