Her current research interests relate to inequality, redistribution, the cushioning role of the tax and transfer system, heterogeneous agents DSGE models and the interactions between microeconomic heterogeneity and macroeconomic dynamics.

The Covid-19 crisis has shown that fiscal policy discretionary measures and automatic stabilisers can be crucial tools to cushion the impacts of economic crises and promote swifter recoveries. Participating at the Annual Research Conference will allow for a deeper understanding of how these tools can be effectively designed and implemented, providing useful information for researchers and policy makers on how to cope with the effects of the current crisis and prepare for future ones.
