eInvoicing code lists: First update of 2023 released

The European Commission announces the first update in 2023 of the eInvoicing code lists. This release contains updated versions of the EAS code lists as well as the applicable values for all other code lists used in the European standard on eInvoicing (EN 16931). The code lists are available for download in Excel and genericode formats on the dedicated page:

The release of the code lists further enhances electronic invoicing and encourages a harmonised approach among stakeholders.

You can submit Requests for Change to the code lists directly through the Service Desk. Stay informed about each registry update by enabling notifications following the instructions at the bottom of the eInvoicing User Community page.

Additionally, the Commission launched a Call for Evidence on the evaluation of eInvoicing policy in March 2023 to ensure that the eInvoicing Directive remains aligned with stakeholders' needs, as well as the emerging trends and needs. We encourage you, our stakeholders, to share your views by 14 April 2023 via the Have your say portal.
