eInvoicing Conformance testing


CEF DIGITAL eInvoicing offers a test infrastructure that allows solution & service providers and public entities to entities to check the compliance of their eInvoicing solution against solution against the standard in a specific syntax:  ISOISO/IEC 19845:2015 (UBL 2.1) or UN/CEFACT CII.

CEF DIGITAL eInvoicing provides a ready to use testing platform, and supports the users of the CEF DIGITAL eInvoicing Conformance Testing service during the entire testing process.

Who can use the service?

The CEF DIGITAL eInvoicing Conformance Testing service is intended for the following types of users:

  • eInvoicing solution & service providers across Member States that address invoice content validation.
  • Initiatives (e.g. public entities, funded projects etc.) with relevance
  • Public Entities – Public entities are involved in the transposition and implementation of the Directive 2014/55/EU on electronic invoicing in public procurement, in the adaptation of EU and national policies and in handling initiatives or projects linked to (cross-border) interoperability
  • can apply
  • . They apply to the conformance test to have their reference implementations and test suites installed in the
  • test bed run by ISA²,
  • testbed run by Interoperable Europe for their respective communities to use.
  • Suppliers – Entities doing business using the European standard on eInvoicing. They are involved in the creation, usage and exchange of eInvoices according to national obligations.
  • Service and Solution Providers - Involved in the design, operation and implementation of eInvoicing systems/solutions compliant with the Directive 2014/55/EU and the European standard on electronic invoicing (EN 16931-1:2017 semantic and CEN/TS 16931-2:2017 syntaxes) and wish to undertake interoperability testing. They can use the testbed .Software owners, including privately held companies who build solutions as part of a larger programme for which they would need or want to undertake interoperability testing, can then use the test bed to test their products’ connectivity against supported reference implementations, or the conformance of their messages against supported specifications).

Anyone, including those not eligible to directly use the ISA² test bed service, is free to download the test bed software and install a local instance in their own premises.

  • Many testing processes on offer including a web form upload, a web service and the GITB platform using AS4 validations (see Process Overview Description document for details.
  • Tests are fully domain-neutral.Ready to use test cases and test platform with a common and standardised plugin, so they can be carried out on different platforms: Unix, Azure, Apple, Microsoft, etc.

The

CEF

DIGITAL eInvoicing Conformance testing Process Overview Description is intended for solution and service providers and public entities that need detailed instructions for using the Conformance testing Service. This document is to be used as an extension of the eInvoicing Conformance testing Service Offering Description (SOD).
