in Domibus 6.0

For those eDelivery users who rely on the Commission’s eDelivery Access Point sample software Domibus, it is important to take note of the removal of the old interface(/backend) of the web service (WS) plugin interface(/backend) with the release of Domibus 6.0. 

The old WS plugin interface(/backend) for the WS plugin will be removed for Domibus 6.0 which means that all projects using the old WS plugin interface will have to change their backends to use the new one (/wsplugin) one, before they can upgrade to Domibus 6.0. Therefore, it is crucial to plan accordingly as we prepare for the release of Domibus 6.0 which is tentatively planned for the beginning of 2025.   

The new WS plugin interface(/wsplugin) of the WS plugin was introduced for Domibus 5.0 in June 2022. For the duration of Domibus 5.X both plugin interfaces are available to use, which should give users plenty of time to implement the new plugin interface.
