The Domibus 5.2 release includes a number of new features, improvements, and bug fixes, including:
  • A new SPI will allow flexibility regarding where configuration files and message payloads can be stored. Storage on the file system and in Amazon S3 will be offered out of the box and users can write their own extensions to support other storage technologies.
  • Improved performance of the Pull mechanism.
  • Support High Availability DB setup (Oracle RAC) to further improve performance.
  • Add support for configurable security profiles, a preparatory step for adding new cryptography algorithms in Domibus 6.0 and already allowing users of 5.2 to configure separate certificates for signing and encryption.
  • Add support for H2 at runtime.
  • Add the possibility to enable/disable plugins based on a global property.
  • OCSP support. 
  • (tentative, still to be confirmed) Support for Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for safer storage of private keys.
Supported platforms:
Domibus 5.2 will be released in two different variants, one based on Jakarta EE 8 and one based on Jakarta EE 10. Please see here for more details.
