Statement by Commissioner Štefan Füle following the arrest of Goran Hadzic
"The arrest of Goran Hadzic is excellent news - Serbia has now arrested all 46 Serbian ICTY indictees. As Goran Hadzic is the very last ICTY indictee to be arrested, the Court will now be able to complete its work. I send my sincere congratulations to the Serbian leadership for keeping their word. Serbia has once more shown that it is a credible partner. Within two months, today is a second great day for Serbia, a great day for justice, and a great day for regional reconciliation. We cannot bring the victims back. But there is at least some relief now that justice is being served."
