EU policy towards South East Europe - SEECP Meeting, Istanbul, 22-23 June 2010

"The European project has been a project of healing Europe after the Second World War, and it was successful. After the end of the Cold War this success was repeated – a torn-apart continent started to reintegrate again. The fifth enlargement has brought a number of nations back to where they originally came from – to the one European family. [...]"

"[...] This is a success, I strongly believe, worth repeating in countries of South Eastern Europe". stated Commissioner Füle on 22 June at the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Istanbul.
