2nd Meeting of the EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Council
"The overall picture of EU-Albania relations remains positive. Albania has been able to make progress on key political reforms, on economic development and on its preparations for European integration. The implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement has been progressing smoothly. Albania has maintained a constructive and stabilising role in the region," stated Commissioner Štefan FÜLE, at the press conference on 11 May 2010 in Brussels.
