In the coming months, the European Commission will take ten initiatives to implement the New Skills Agenda for Europe which it adopted on 10 June.

Social Agenda n°45 focuses in particular on

• the skills guarantee (a pathway to enhance literacy, numeracy and digital skills for adult workers)
• the way the European Qualifications Framework is being boosted.

As a follow-up to the previous issue on refugees, it also provides a detailed presentation of the Action Plan on the Integration of Third Country Nationals which the Commission adopted on 7 June.
