The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion is organising the final of four Mutual Learning workshops on access to social protection for workers and the self-employed.

These workshops aim at supporting Member States and contributing to the implementation of the principles set out in the Council Recommendation on access to social protection for workers and self-employed.

The fourth workshop, taking place online, will explore how entitlements to social protection can be preserved, accumulated and transferred across employment statuses and sectors (Article 10), as well as how to ensure that conditions and rules for all social protection schemes are transparent and information is accessible (Articles 15 and 16 of the Recommendation).
