2018 FEANTSA Conference: Future challenges for the homeless sector in Europe

The European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless (FEANTSA) has opened the registration to the conference 'Future challenges for the homeless sector in Europe', which will take place on 14-15 June in Berlin.

The pre-conference programme will kick off on the afternoon of 14 June, with a series of site visits and informal working spaces to network on specific topics.

The conference itself will begin on Friday 15 June with a key note address by Prof. Eoin O’Sullivan. Raquel Cortés Herrera, deputy head of the unit 'Disability & Inclusion', DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, will be one of the chairs in the panel discussion '2030: The next milestone'.

Participants will then be invited to participate in a series of workshops on a wide range of topics including innovative housing, EU funds, youth homelessness, migration, violence against women, LGBTIQ homelessness, health inequalities, homelessness and the media, discharge and prevention, housing first, the changing profile of homelessness and criminalisation.

Registrations will close on 31 May. 

The conference dinner and the FEANTSA Turns 30 Dinner have limited capacity and will be given on a first come, first served basis. 

All site visits and working spaces will be conducted in English only. Plenary sessions and all workshops will be available in English and German. The plenary sessions and selected workshops will also be available in French.
