Description of the Organisation:
The Czech Chamber of Commerce (in Czech Hospodářská komora České republiky) was set up by law (No. 301/1992) as an independent national chamber with voluntary membership. Its mission is to create opportunities for entrepreneurship, to promote and support measures that contribute to the development of business in the Czech Republic and thus to the overall economic stability of the country. The Czech Chamber of Commerce is the largest and the most representative business association in the Czech Republic. It has more than 15,000 members organized in 62 regional chambers and in 112 branch associations. The Czech Chamber of Commerce is a member of the EUROCHAMBERS and the President of the Chamber Mr V. Dlouhy is the chairman of the Future of Europe Committee in EUROCHAMBERS.
