The Basque Business Confederation (Confebask) represents the interests of Basque business men and women before administration, trade unions, professional organisations and public actors in the Basque country. It integrates thousands of private companies in the Basque Autonomous Community belonging to all territories, sizes and sectors. Confebask is aware of the importance of human capital for companies' competitiveness and the need to adapt to permanent change. Confebask thus works as a facilitator, transferring the needs of the productive system to the educational system and implementing pioneer training programmes in Basque companies. Confebask's dual objectives in the field of training are the increase of people possessing the knowledge, skills and attitudes fit for Basque companies and the increase in the skills of current or future Basque employees. Confebask deals with VET, dual training, international mobility scholarships, training for employment and other training activities.
