Public consultation SCENIHR Opinion on the appropriateness of existing methodologies to assess the potential risks associated with engineered and adventitious products of nanotechnologies

The SCENIHR undertook a public consultation on the basis of an Opinion pdfadopted on 28-29 September 2005 on the appropriateness of existing methodologies to assess the potential risks associated with engineered and adventitious products of nanotechnologies. Interested parties were invited to submit comments and pertinent scientific information by e-mail by 16 December 2005.

Following comments from the public consultation the Opinion was modified pdfand adopted by the SCENIHR during the 10th plenary meeting of 10 March 2006.

The Synthesis Report pdf presents the overall results from the public consultation including the SCENIHR responses.
