Events

The main objective of the contest is to photograph old and new poverties in Europe.

Participants are asked to report in a photo a situation of poverty or social exclusion found in the European Union territory.

The prizes are the following:

• Prize of the Technical Jury: 800 euros
• Prize of the Popular Jury: 400 euros

Fill in the application form including a photo short explanation (maximum 150 words) in Italian or English and send it together with the photo by e‐mail to imagoeuropae@comune.fi.it no later than the 30th of July 2010.

The selected photos will be evaluated by two juries:

• A technical Jury will select a winning photo. The jury reserves the right to not award the prize. The proclamation of the winner will be on the 15th of October
• A popular Jury, composed by all the members of the group "NO1OUT Photo contest" on Facebook, will vote the best photo using the Facebook function "I like / Mi piace", starting from

The photo that on the 15th of October at 13:00 will have received more preferences will be declared winner. In the month of November the award ceremony will take place in Florence. The two winners’ travel and subsistence costs will be covered by the organising team.
