Registrations are now open for the seventh edition of the Just Transition Platform Conference, which will take place in Brussels on 25-27 April 2023. This hybrid event will be co-hosted by DG REGIO and DG ENER, with participants including Commissioners Thierry Breton, Elisa Ferreira and Kadri Simson.

How to register:
Registrations will close on 24 March, so make sure you sign up as soon as possible.
As this event will take place in hybrid format, registrations for each day of the event are possible for in-person or virtual attendance.
Please note that due to the limited capacity of the venue, final confirmation of in-person participation is subject to approval.
Registration for online participation will remain open. All sessions will be live streamed for virtual attendees via Swapcard.
About the event:
The conference will provide a forum for sharing views and experiences on the just transition process to stakeholders from national, local and regional authorities as well as economic and social partners, the wider society and representatives from the European Commission; among them Commissioner for Internal Market, Thierry Breton, Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira, and Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson.
The two-day conference on 25 and 26 April will facilitate exchange between stakeholders on the journey of a just transition towards a climate-neutral Europe. The event will focus on the implementation of the Just Transition Fund. It will spotlight the ambitions included in the Territorial Just Transition Plans and the opportunities that the Just Transition Fund has created in the regions, including for industries of strategic importance.
Furthermore, specific sessions will address various topics such as energy security and energy transition nexus, international dimension of just transition, effective governance mechanisms for monitoring and implementation of just transition, and available technical assistance to support stakeholders on the ground. On 27 April, the European Committee of the Regions will organise a Multi-Level Dialogue on Just Transition. To register for this side event, please register via EUSurvey.
