Open calls

Until 5^th December 2024, Strand 1 and 2a calls were open as part of the Regional Innovation Valleys Initiative for consortia of innovation actors from regions.

Until 31^st October 2024, call open for EU Member State authoritiesinterested in applying for the new TSI Flagship Initiative to Address Demographic Change Through Reforms, providing support to address the consequences of demographic change by implementing reforms.

An additional I3 Instrument Strand 2b call for financial and advisory support in capacity building was published in November 2023 and remains open. The first cut-off date of the call was on 15 February 2024, and the second cut-off date will be on the 14 November 2024.

Between 11 September and 20 October 2023, a Call for Expression of Interest is open for EU regions experiencing an accelerated decline of their working age population and lagging levels of tertiary education.

Between 14 December 2023 and 14 February 2024, a Call for Expression of Interest will be open for EU regions to receive technical assistance foreseen under Pillar 2 of the Talent Booster Mechanism. This call will be open to 36 EU regions from 11 Member States that are sharply affected by the departure of their population aged 15-39.

Until 31^st October 2023, call open for EU Member State authorities interested in applying for one of the two Flagship Technical Support Projects by DG REFORM providing technical support to Member States in the field of skills and regional development.

Until 5^th October 2023, second Innovative Actions call open to all cities and projects focusing on: greening cities, sustainable Tourism and Harnessing talent in shrinking cities.

Until 22 September 2023, call open for stakeholders at EU, national and regional level to be part of 4 Working Groups on the topics of: Digital, Health, Research & Innovation and Territorial development.
