Europe in My Region - Region of Sicily

As part of “Europe in my region”, regional communication campaigns are deployed around familiar places, and highlight EU-enabled ideas and initiatives that make a difference at the local level. These regional campaigns with an ultra-local flavour are created in partnership with the Regions.

In the region of Sicily, from September 25 until October 25, these emblematic places and initiatives are promoted:

• Social housing complexes in Trapani, Ragusa and Palermo
• The “Gaspare Umile” sports centre in Marsala

Our places have new colours.

The places where we live give colour to our lives and are part of us. Accessible housing, where we can meet and be together, allow us to create a new, shared history. In Trapani and Marsala, as well as in Palermo, in Ragusa, and throughout our region, the European Union together with the Region of Sicily is giving life to social housing projects, sports centres and upgraded spaces that make us feel truly at home.
