As part of “Europe in my region”, regional communication campaigns are deployed around familiar places, and highlight EU-enabled ideas and initiatives that make a difference at the local level. These regional campaigns with an ultra-local flavour are created in partnership with the Regions.
In the region of North Aegean, from 6 June until 6 July 2022, these emblematic places and projects are promoted:
Mytilene. A new way of life. Ready to live Mytilene differently? Discover a new way of life, an upgraded and more qualitative daily life. A route that connects the past with the present, through the new low-traffic road, the pedestrian walkways and the bike lane. Make your everyday unique, by taking a walk along the sea or a bicycle ride, and rediscover the regional route and the Castle of Mytilene. Live a unique experience, where yesterday meets today through the modernized castle buildings. Experience Mytilene differently, thanks to the contribution of the North Aegean Region and the European Union.
