Europe in My Region - Peloponnese Region

As part of “Europe in my region”, regional communication campaigns are deployed around familiar places, and highlight EU-enabled ideas and initiatives that make a difference at the local level. These regional campaigns with an ultra-local flavour are created in partnership with the Regions.

In the region of Peloponnese, from 21 October until 23 November 2021, emblematic places are highlighted:

• Chrysafitissa square in Monemvasia castle
• The churches of Panagia Myrtidiotisa and Saint Anna
• The area of Agia Sofia church and the main gate in the upper city of Monemvasia
• The lighthouse of Monemvasia
