Europe in My Region - Province of Ruse
As part of “Europe in my region”, regional communication campaigns are deployed around familiar places, and highlight EU-enabled ideas and initiatives that make a difference at the local level. These regional campaigns with an ultra-local flavour are created in partnership with the Regions.
In the province of Ruse, from 30 April until 30 May 2022, these emblematic places and projects are promoted:
- Ruse town centre: renovation of the pedestrian environment and construction of public recreation areas, including accessibility improvements in the central urban area
Ruse: The city of first things. Reinvented Ruse is constantly changing so we can enjoy it every day like the first time! We go back to our first happy moments, watching our children playing on the renovated playgrounds. Enjoying the sunshine while making memories with friends in the blossoming parks. We enjoy the fresh air and ride our bikes on the new bike paths. And in the evening, the central city lighting makes our renovated streets even more romantic. This is our beloved city of firsts today, beautiful and modern, thanks to the contribution of the Ruse Municipality and the European Union.
