The evaluation analysed the progress and achievements of Cohesion Policy in selected areas of environmental infrastructure: drinking water, wastewater treatment, and solid waste management. Due to the nature of the projects supported, it is difficult in practice to distinguish between water and wastewater projects and so these were combined in the analysis. This report therefore presents results of the evaluation for two major policy areas: waste management and water.
