The guidance and clarifications provided in this note revise, expand and systematise the guidance provided in two earlier notes (COCOF/07/0018/01 and COCOF/08/0002/03) and take account of ad hoc consultations submitted to the Commission services by Member States, Managing Authorities and relevant European and national bodies concerned. This note was revised on 08/02/2012 to take account of the modifications introduced to Article 45 of the Implementing Regulation, as amended by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1236/2011 of 29/11/2011.
