New processing line helps Polish packaging company break into new markets
- 16 August 2019
Products created using our new processing line will be improved in terms of their characteristics and raw material components. The products will stand out for their excellent quality and attractive appearance. The perfect combination of aesthetics and durability will ensure the right product image and sales success.
The new line handles various stages of production, from processing and treating the raw material – old newspapers, magazines and cardboard – to forming the end product. The technology, which has been imported from China, provides a number of benefits. It can efficiently remove impurities such as ink during the production process. This allows Dinopol to make packaging products that are whiter, smoother and more attractive. In addition, the line adds to all-round quality by making a stronger product.
Increasing productivity
The processing line is improving production flow and shortening the manufacturing cycle, which is helping Dinopol increase productivity and lower costs. The investment is adding to the company’s green credentials. The new line shortens the drying process for pulped raw materials, which helps reduce waste in the production process. In general, packaging made from paper pulp is eco-friendly because it can be recycled or composted after use.
Dinopol is using the processing line to make innovative products, including two new types of egg trays, which were previously only manufactured abroad and had to be imported into Poland. In addition, a patented medical instrument tray is being developed. This disposable container is made of pulp paper and has been designed for use in hospitals.
Improving competitiveness
The investment has strengthened Dinopol’s position on the domestic market and increased its competitiveness internationally. The company increased the share of its export sales in total sales by 30 %. Introducing the new technology has already helped the company create five new jobs. In the long-term, added sales and success could create up to 15 new permanent posts.
Total investment and EU funding
