Fair Taxation Seminars 2018

Fair, simple and effective taxation plays a crucial role in upholding a strong and sustainable economy, a thriving business environment and a just social model. However, tax avoidance and abuse undermine the social contract between citizens and their governments and are a threat to fair competition.
To foster active knowledge exchange to tackle tax abuse and avoidance, the European Commission is organising five seminars in Latvia, Austria, France, Ireland and Italy over the course of 2018.
The seminars will bring together national policy-makers, civil society organizations, academics and business representatives, as well as members of the European institutions.
The first seminar will take place in Riga, Latvia, on April 19th and registrations are open.
Séminaires 2018 sur l’équité fiscale
Une fiscalité équitable, simple et efficace joue un rôle essentiel pour soutenir une économie forte et durable, un environnement commercial florissant et un modèle social juste. Toutefois, la fraude et l’évasion fiscales portent atteinte au contrat social entre les citoyens et leurs gouvernements et menacent la concurrence loyale.
En vue de promouvoir l’échange actif de connaissances pour lutter contre la fraude et l’évasion fiscales, la Commission européenne organise en 2018 cinq séminaires dans les pays suivants: Lettonie, Autriche, France, Irlande et Italie.
Ces séminaires réuniront des décideurs politiques nationaux, des organisations de la société civile, des universitaires et des représentants d’entreprises ainsi que des membres des institutions européennes.
Le premier séminaire aura lieu à Riga, Lettonie, le 19 avril. Les inscriptions sont ouvertes.

Seminare zur fairen Besteuerung im Jahr 2018
Eine faire, einfache und wirksame Besteuerung spielt eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Wahrung einer starken und nachhaltigen Wirtschaft, eines florierenden wirtschaftlichen Umfeldes und eines gerechten Sozialmodells. Steuerhinterziehung und Steuermissbrauch gefährden den sozialen Vertrag zwischen Bürgern und ihren Regierungen und sind eine Bedrohung für fairen Wettbewerb.
Die Europäische Kommission veranstaltet im Laufe des Jahres 2018 fünf Seminare in Irland, Frankreich, Italien, Lettland und Österreich, um einen aktiven Wissensaustausch zu fördern, der zur Bekämpfung von Steuermissbrauch und Steuerhinterziehung beiträgt.
Die Seminare vereinen nationale politische Entscheidungsträger, Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft, Akademiker und Unternehmensvertreter sowie Mitglieder europäischer Institutionen.
Das erste Seminar findet am 19. April in der lettischen Hauptstadt Riga statt. Anmeldungen sind ab sofort möglich.
