SELFIE - DigComp: Learning Outcomes project

The JRC is currently working on the next development phase of DigComp, which entails the development of learning outcomes and incorporation of recent and emerging trends into the framework. The update to the framework is expected towards the end of 2025. On 25 June, the JRC had its first of two DigComp expert review meetings.

Twenty-five experts from eight EU countries along with international representatives (from Cedefop and CEPIS) were in attendance, offering expertise and insights from a range of perspectives.

The objectives of the meeting were:

to establish a shared understanding of the scope and goals of the expert review
to discuss progress on learning outcomes development and consider emerging trends in relation to DigComp
to provide direction for the next steps in the project

The second DigComp expert review meeting will take place in September.
