On March 9th, our colleagues César Herrero and Lilian Weikert García participated in the second training session of the DeCoDe programme in Cantabria (Spain). All educational centres of all non-university educational stages of the region (about 280) were involved in this initiative. The session was attended by about 400 teachers. On 2 September 2022, the event Networks for digital transformation in the educational community of Cantabria will be held, aimed at facilitating the exchange and development of networks among participants. Nikoleta Giannoutsou and César Herrero will talk about how to develop a digital action plan.

In addition, the Teachers' Training Centre of Mérida (Extremadura, Spain) organised an official SELFIE training course for teachers in Extremadura. The SELFIE team was invited to take part in one of the sessions, and our colleague César Herrero explained how the tool works, as well as the latest developments in SELFIE, SELFIE for work-based learning and SELFIEforTEACHERS.

Our colleagues César Herrero, Ioanna Tsotsou and Lilian Weikert García presented SELFIE at the CompDigEdu training days in the Community of Madrid (Spain). Attending the event were all the new teaching advisors from Madrid who will be in charge of implementing the program to improve the digital competence in education, and who will also provide support to the schools. The SELFIE team presented the tool and put special focus on the development of the schools' digital action plan.

Finally, last 10th May, the 1st Congress on Educational and Digital Innovation was held in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia, Spain), which was attended by 700 people, most of them teachers from all educational levels. Our colleague César Herrero participated in a round table on the digital transformation of the education system. He talked about the different competence frameworks and tools, and offered some data from different studies. More information, here.
