In addition to the development  of its own Maturity Model for the sustainable digital transformation of the VET sector (based on the DigCompOrg and DigCompEdu reference frameworks), the Directorate of Technology and Advanced Learning of the Vice-Ministry of VET of the Basque Country has promoted the piloting of SELFIE WBL, in which almost 3,500 users (including school leaders, teachers, students and in-company trainers) from 24 VET institutions participated. The piloting took place between April and May 2022.

This exercise has been very important to know the strengths and weaknesses of the Basque VET System in its challenge towards digital transformation, and has also allowed to know the positioning of both the VET institutions and the companies that work with learners in the dual model.
