SELFIE for work-based learning is a new module of the SELFIE tool that supports Vocational Education and Training (VET) schools and companies in making the most of digital technologies for teaching, learning and training. SELFIE WBL supports schools and companies become fit for the digital age. In this way, it supports achieving the twin digital and green transition, one of the key policy priorities of the European Commission. Adapting SELFIE to the specific requirements of WBL is a necessary step to support VET schools.

In order to use SELFIE WBL, once logged in SELFIE, when setting a new self-reflection exercise, it is necessary to choose the educational level UPPER SECONDARY VOCATIONAL LEVEL and then, click on the following option:

The process followed to develop this new module started in 2018 with a feasibility study, which showed positive results. The European Commission started to develop a WBL extension of the SELFIE tool in January 2020.
