SELFIE - Pilot of SELFIE in Ukraine: findings and next steps

On Thursday September 23th, 2021, SELFIE team leader, Nikoleta Giannoutsou, took part in this event of the European Training Foundation (ETF), held in collaboration with the Join Research Centre (JRC) and relevant national authorities, providing a speech about explaining the SELFIE tool and its current situation and next steps.

The SELFIE Project in Ukraine was launched in April 2021 in 90 schools (60 K12 schools and 30 VET schools) to pilot and enable the school's self-assessment and further strategic planning of use of digital technology in education processes.

The objectives of this dissemination online event were:

To inform on progress of the SELFIE project in Europe and the pilot in Ukraine.
To discuss the findings from SELFIE pilot in Ukraine with the involved stakeholders.
To discuss the further implementation of SELFIE in Ukraine.

Participants will include national and regional stakeholders involved in the project, primarily from the Ministries of Education and Science and Digital Transformation, educational regional authorities, representatives of In-Service Teacher Training Institutions and Regional VET Methodological Centers, together with school managers and coordinators involved in the pilot and the newcomers; students will be also invited to the meeting.
