Welcome to the third edition of the SELFIE newsletter. Today it is a BIG day for the SELFIE project, as the tool turns 3. While it has been a relatively short journey, the milestones for such a tool have been amazing.

In just three years, the tool has already helped more than 1.7 million school leaders, teachers and students improve their school’s digital capacity. This has not been an easy endeavour, keeping in mind that the tool is available in more than 35 languages and as from this October, it includes a new module dedicated to work-based learning (SELFIE WBL). You can also read about our recent event the SELFIE Forum. It is always a great pleasure for us to see all the SELFIE community coming together and the different strands of working developed within this project in one event. Also, as a follow-up to the Forum and given the interest the audience has shown for the Digital Action Plan workshop, we have decided to rerun it. More information on the Forum item.

Just few weeks before the Forum, we received the sad news that our colleague and collaborator Jim Devine passed on.  In this newsletter, we would like to honour him and his work in relation to the SELFIE project amongst others.
