Speech Repository

Thanks to our speakers, partner universities and graders, we have added 320 new speeches to the Speech Repository in 2024. 74 of them were recorded by the partner universities. The platform was visited more than 400,000 times. It means that many of your students practise their interpreting skills with us. We also introduced new features that we hope will be useful for students and trainers when choosing practice material.

A series of pedagogical tags and a dedicated filtering system were introduced in August. 

The goal is to allow users to choose among the tags in line with what kind of skills they would like to train and test while interpreting a speech. For example, if you want to practise speeches with “numbers”, “proper names” or “acronyms”, you just need to select these items using the filter “Tags” in the “Search Speeches” section. You can combine it with the other available filters (for example, “Level” and “Use”) to find the most suitable speech for your learning stage.
