E-learning for interpreters...by interpreters!

date:  10/01/2017

Dear colleagues,

Don't wait any longer and discover our new learning portal. There, you will find e-learning for interpreters... by interpreters including modules on the Meeting Blog, Bursaries, the new Televic console and Voice Coaching.  Video recordings of thematic trainings and presidency talks are also available!

We do not aspire to include technology in your learning experience simply because of the learning opportunities it provides but also because it is a great way to share! So please, share with us in our forum on SCICnet to allow us to integrate your comments and make your learning even more useful and enjoyable! Therefore, we created a community where you can share information and reports on your bursaries and laguage stays! Also, we encourage you to share with us in our forum on SCICnet in order to adapt our offer to your needs and make your learning an enjoyable experience. So please do not hesitate to give us your feedback and suggestions for improvement!

Meanwhile, enjoy your learning!

The training team SCIC C.3.

Have you ever thought of a place where you could exchange information about meetings with other colleagues? Good news! There is already such a tool: the Meeting Blog! "20 % of our learning is made of peer and social learning!" So, don't wait any longer to join the Blog community!

Watch this tutorial especially made by your colleagues to explain how you can use it : tp://scic.ec.europa.eu/elearning/meetingblog/story.html

Please do not hesitate to improve it sending us your contributions our forum!

Special thanks to Sergio ALLIONI without whom we could not have carried out this first e-learning pilot to Veijo KRUTH, Kirsi MENNANDER and Nicola WEARMOUTH who accepted to share their experience with us and to Benedetta BOCCARDI.

So become a blogger and care to share!

WHAT IF PROCEDURES WERE FUN?

Phileas is an interpreter who craves to go on a Bursary in Paris but he is discouraged by merely thinking of the procedures and forms that he has to complete.

Don't let procedures turn your life into a nightmare!

Give us a virtual call and we'll make our best to make procedures as fun as possible...

Have a look on our new e-learning module on Bursaries by clicking on the link: http://scic.ec.europa.eu/elearning/bursary/story.html

Huge thanks to Carlos HOYOS who accepted to play the role of our interpreter Phileas FOGG and helped us to realise this second pilot. Also many thanks to Simona BARDELCIKOVA, Carlos GARCIA VICO, Jose ITURRI, Jaroslaw KROL and to Sara GILGADO HERTZLER.

Discover more modules on our SCIC learning portal! We are looking forward to hearing from you soon on our forum!
