INTERPRETATION SCIC INFORMS - Speech Repository 2.0

At the beginning of October 2014 the new version of the Speech Repository, the Speech Repository 2.0 was launched. The new Speech Repository does not only have a new design but also offers new functionalities and more than 2,000 speeches directly accessible to the public. Moreover, after logging in through ECAS, users of My Speech Repository have the possibility to connect with friends, record their interpretation with the SCICRec recording tool and share their recordings with other users to give and receive feedback.

New and especially recommended speeches are visible in the "Latest Videos" and "Featured Videos" sections.

Currently both the public and restricted sections of the Speech Repository host more than 3,000 speeches in all 24 official EU languages, Macedonian, Turkish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic. The database of speeches is growing constantly: in 2014 more than 250 new speeches were added.
