Stop Wasting Food movement launched the FREE FOOD PLATFORM (Gratismad.dk), an easily accessible, free, digital, nationwide platform, which makes it easy for Danes in food poverty (e.g. poor families, homeless people and other socially disadvantaged persons), to get easy and quick access to free surplus food in their local areas.

GratisMad.dk is also a platform through which local donors of surplus food (e.g. supermarkets, food producers, wholesalers, etc), can easily and quickly get in touch with local charities (e.g. drop-in centers for homeless people, hostels, charitable food waste organisations and other local food waste initiatives), and donate free surplus food.

The FREE FOOD PLATFORM has already received 17 000+ visitors and has been featured in the FORBES magazine.
