EIT Food, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), opened the annual call for applications to all its flagship Entrepreneurship programs Seedbed, EIT FAN and RisingFoodStars at the same time.

Applications to enrol in these programmes are open from 14 February until 10 April 2021:

• The Seedbed Incubator Programme supports aspiring entrepreneurs looking to validate the market opportunity. Members benefit from funding, mentoring, business skills training, 1on1 support and access to a thriving European network of innovators and experts.

• The EIT Food Accelerator Network helps startups to fast-track innovation by leveraging the unparalleled network which EIT Food has to offer by connecting startups with the 35+ of Europe's leading corporate and research institutions active in all different elements of our food system - from seed production to agricultural machinery and food processing, from ingredients to FMCG companies.

• The RisingFoodStars network provides scaleups with easy access to:
  • an unparalleled network of leading European corporates, universities and research organisations;
  • increased visibility by participating at best-in-class agrifood & startup events, in Europe and globally;
  • tailored support in scaling up, investments and overcoming challenges;
  • fast track access to EIT Food funding.

The Seedbed Incubator and EIT Food Accelerator Network programmes run for 4-6 months and are delivered at unique innovation hubs spread across Europe. With RisingFoodStars scale-ups will become part of an international network for up to three years.

Interested entrepreneurs, startups and scaleups for all programmes need first to register their interest through this online form. Once registered, applicants will get a direct email linking them to the application platform of the best suited program for their stage of business development.
