Recovery of surplus food from European Commission’s restaurants and cafeterias

On 30 December 2020, thanks to the collaboration between Ciano International, the catering service responsible for some restaurants and cafeterias of the European Commission in Brussels, and the European Food Banks Federation, the food bank in Brussels recovered food from the canteens and bars of the European Commission. The food has already been redistributed to charities helping people in need.
