Polish retailer Biedronka launched food waste campaign to raise awareness

Food waste is a dramatic problem the world is facing today. To tackle the problem, Biedronka (member of the Polish association POHiD (Polska Organizacja Handlu i Dystrybucji)) launched the ‘Together Against Food Waste’ campaign that aims to teach people how to prevent food waste by using recommended tips and tricks. At the same time, the Polish retailer also launched a specific campaign targeting non-profit organizations, inviting them to join the company’s efforts through close cooperation.

A website dedicated to the campaign was also developed, containing useful information for both customers and non-profit organizations.
