Coop Netherlands is the first Dutch supermarket chain to connect all its stores to the 'Too Good To Go' application. The rollout in the more than 300 stores belonging to the chain follows the successful test carried out in 9 of these stores.

Each year, between 1.7 and 2.5 million tonnes of food are wasted in the Netherlands. Maarten Ebben, Store Operations Director at Coop says: ‘Time, effort and love have gone into these products. That is why inexpensive shopping packages will soon be available at almost all Coop stores via the ‘Too Good To Go’ app’. It is about the so-called 'Magic Boxes', which contain products close to their ‘best before’ date that might otherwise end up in the trash bin.
