The Luxembourgish Ministry of Agriculture celebrated the first International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste on 29.09.2020 by carrying out a number of activities under the motto ‘Mir sinn Antigaspi – an dir?’ (‘We’re against wasting food – are you with us?’).

Information on several initiatives against food waste was published on the platform of the national ‘Antigaspi’ campaign and reportages on these same initiatives were broadcasted on radio. In order to encourage the development of future initiatives, the Ministry of Agriculture launched a call for projects, open until end of November 2020. Up to five project owners will receive financial support to turn their ideas into reality.
