On 26th September the "EU protects" campaign received the Silver award at the Cannes Corporate Film festival in the category "Integrated Communication: films and videos as part of a larger communication campaign". The ERNs were featured in the awareness raising campaign "EU protects" launched by the European Commission early this year. The key message of the campaign is to show how the European Union supports and connects people who every day help protect other citizens in Europe. Among these "ordinary heroes", the doctors of the European Reference Networks were highlighted.
