REGAL Normandy, a network dedicated to preventing food waste in Normandy, is mobilising restaurants to reduce their food waste by weighing it from 27 to 31 May.

New inspiration to food loss and waste solutions through ”plug & play” solutions

The Danish think tank ONE\THIRD has released a new inspiration catalog displaying “plug & play”' technologies and solutions aimed to tackle food loss and waste across the food value chain.

Food Rescue Day on May 26th in Austria

"Food Rescue Day" is an annual communication initiative by WWF Austria, held on 26 May. It involves organisations in raising awareness about the environmental impact of food waste and presenting solutions.

CHORIZO food loss and waste Datahub and "Insighter" Status Report

The "Insighter" Status Report provides an overview of the 585 resources found in the CHORIZO project and stored in the Datahub. Dive into the list of actions to prevent food waste across the food supply chain or the case studies’ data sets.

Digital food hub to support social and non-profit organisations in Austria

The digital hub is an initiative of the Austrian Federal Government and it aims to facilitate the transfer of food donations from stakeholders to social and non-profit organisations to fight poverty. The call for tenders to create this hub has been launched recently – read more about the hub!
