European Commission proposes targets to accelerate food waste reduction in the EU by 2030

The Commission is proposing to set food waste reduction targets to be achieved by Member States by 2030.

IFWC has published a food waste report compiled from data from members in the European hospitality and food service sectors in 2022, showing an impressive 23% reduction in food waste since 2019.
