Monday 22 April: Earth Day 2024 Workshop, Europe House, Dublin 2

This Coastwatch and More4Nature Earth Day 2024 workshop will explore application of the Single Use Plastics (SUP) Directive, with focus on the banned disposable items. It will celebrate the disappearance of most, and seek to jointly tackle ban-resistance of a few, especially disposable plastic cutlery. Speakers at this hybrid event include Julia Roettgerding, Policy Officer at the European Commission's Directorate General for the Environment as well as Karin Dubsky, Coastwatch and Barbara Nolan, Head of the European Commission Representation in Ireland.
